Home Mission Board

Carrying the Compassion of Our Christ

Rev. Leonard O. Griffin, Executive Secretary   |  Dr. Michael D. Warren, Chairman

In accordance with the Revised Constitution of our Convention, one of the primary objectives of National Baptists is, “to promote home and foreign mission.” Therefore, the Home Mission Board has as its fundamental purpose the promotion of Christian missions in the United States and U.S. Virgin Islands.

Social Justice Ministry Networking

As a part of the Home Mission Board’s Micah Social Justice Ministry we are seeking out Pastors who have Social Justice Ministries in preparation for our anticipated 2013 Faith, Family and Community Empowerment Conference.  We will highlight Social Justice Ministry (SJM) and would like to have a mailing list of pastors who have a strong burden for or interest in SJM. We would like to know how your SJM is being manifested in your church and community. We would like to do a SJM feature in our Mercy & Might newsletter by promoting best practices that other pastors and their churches can profit from.

Join the SJM Network

The first step to becoming a part of our network is to complete a BRIEF questionnaire.  Click the link below to print the questionnaire.  Follow the instructions to return it to us as your earliest convenience.

One of many services that we offer pastors is information sharing and instruction on how to develop a SJM or enhance existing ministries. We welcome the opportunity to assist you in your efforts to connect to existing national and inter-national faith-based SJMs.
