Scholarship for High School Senior Young Men
The Laymen’s Auxiliary to the National Baptist Convention USA, Inc. has setup scholarships for graduating high school senior young men. The Laymen have a goal to help three young men start their educational endeavors by bestowing a scholarship to an accredited school of their choice immediately after graduation from high school. Although the number of scholarships are limited, every young man has an equal opportunity to compete and win if they meet the following criteria.

Willie Burke Honored at Laymen's Breakfast

Dear Fellow National Laymen & Supporters,
Deacon Willie Burke, Layman President, General Baptist Convention of NJ and National Baptist Convention USA Inc., was honored with an appreciation breakfast for his service as the Layman President of the General Baptist Convention of New Jersey. Deacon Burke has serviced as Layman President three (3) separate terms. At his church, The Metropolitan Baptist Church, under Rev. Dr. David Jefferson, he serves as the Chairman of the Deacon Ministry. The breakfast was well attended by family, church members, Laymen from throughout New Jersey and Pennsylvania and friends.
