Mid Winter Board Meeting Reports Recommendations Board of Directors Report-Recommendations

  1. The request from American Baptist College to amend the Charter regarding the appointment of the Trustees to the Board was denied.
  2. The partnership between the NBC, USA, Inc. and the USDA was approved (sustainable gardens).
  3. The partnership between the NBC, USA, Inc. and Impact Network was approved (30 minute weekly show, free).  Click here for more information
  4. The partnership between the NBC, USA, Inc. and Black Health Television was approved.
  5. A potential relationship between the NBC, USA, Inc. and Green Dot is under evaluation.
  6. Reverend Nevalon Mitchell was approved as the new Ecclesiastical Endorser for the NBC, USA, Inc.
  7. The Annual Session of the Convention will conclude on Friday at 12 noon (Constitution amendment in progress).
  8. The Youth and Young Adult Auxiliary will be established as a department of the NBC, USA, Inc., no longer under the Woman’s Auxiliary (Constitution amendment in progress).
  9. The Morris Building will become the headquarters for the NBC, USA, Inc. and the Baptist World Center will become the headquarters for the Sunday School Publishing Board.
  10. The Music Auxiliary will be renamed the Music and Worship Arts Auxiliary (Constitution amendment in progress).
