Services Provided. National Baptist Convention, USA, Inc. offers a wide variety of services on this web site, including forums on topics pertinent to our membership and eLearning. Access to certain areas of the web site is limited to registered users.

RESTRICTIONS ON USE OF TRADEMARKS

National Baptist Convention, USA, Inc. trademarks, product names and company names or logos cited herein are the property of the National Baptist Convention, USA, Inc. (collectively referred to as “Trademarks”).  The National Baptist Convention, USA, Inc. asserts ownership over its name and any trademark that has come to be associated with the National Baptist Convention, USA, Inc.  The term “trademark” as used herein includes any trademark, service mark, logo, insignia, seal, crest, design, symbol, or any combination of these. The National Baptist Convention, USA, Inc.’s trademarks include, but are not limited to abbreviations such as NBC, USA, Inc.

The National Baptist Convention, USA, Inc. specifically does not authorize the use of its Trademarks or any other content of its website or other publications to be reproduced for any other media for any purpose without its expressed written consent. This includes all forms of social media.

Unauthorized use of the National Baptist Convention, USA, Inc.’s trademarks is subject to civil and criminal penalties.

The NBC, USA, Inc. trademarks and logos are intended to present a positive image of NBC, USA, Inc., and may not be altered in any way. Nor can NBC, USA, Inc. trademarks and/or logos be used in the name of a business, logo, in promoting services or on a product in a way that states or implies an endorsement by the NBC, USA, Inc.

The National Baptist Convention, USA, Inc.’s trademarks are not to be used in any way that discriminates or implies discrimination against any persons or groups based on age, ancestry, belief, color, creed, disability, national origin, race, religion, sex, sexual orientation or veteran status, or in any other way that would be a violation of the NBC, USA, Inc.’s anti-discrimination policies.

In most instances, use of the National Baptist Convention, USA, Inc. trademarks will not be granted for use with products, art, language, media or services that are or incorporate any of the following: 

  • Firearms or other weapons used to injure or kill
  • Alcohol
  • Illegal drugs
  • Sexually suggestive
  • Profanity
  • Art or design incorporating trademarks or copyrights not owned by the NBC, USA, Inc., unless written permission for such use satisfactory in form and substance to the NBC, USA, Inc. is obtained from the mark holder or copyright owner.
  • Anything that presents an unacceptable risk of liability.
  • Anything that is not supportive the overall mission or image of the NBC, USA, Inc.

Permission to use any NBC, USA, Inc. trademark must be requested in writing and granted prior to use.   Decisions made by the NBC, USA, Inc. are final and binding.

Persons or entities which use the NBC, USA, Inc. trademarks without permission are subject to civil and criminal penalties pursuant to trademark law. The NBC, USA, Inc. intends to protect its trademarks and associated goodwill to the full extent of the law.

Requests for Permission

For permission to use NBC, USA, Inc. trademarks, a written request (by email) must be submitted in writing to the Director of Media Relations for the NBC, USA, Inc.
