For Immediate Release: January 18, 2011

New Convention Website

The National Baptist Convention, USA, Inc. continues to strive to meet the ever growing and ever changing needs of its constituents. This applies in particular to the convention website (www.nationalbaptist.com). The convention website is currently experiencing 60,000 unique visits per month. This traffic is due in large part to the continued evolution of the convention website. This evolution will continue as the Convention will launch a new website with many new features.  The website was previewed during the 2011 Mid-Winter Board Meeting.  This improved website will further enhance an already highly featured website.

Some of the features that will be available on the new NBC USA, Inc. website include:

  • Ability to integrate with many social networks such as Facebook and Twitter
  • Receive text messages updates on your cell phone
  • Online giving
  • Full screen video playback, thereby eliminating many of the antiquated forms of video playback that exists on many current website formats.

The new website is being built under the direction of the TOPIC Ministry by our preferred website vendor, Church Webworks (www.churchwebworks.com) free of charge to the Convention.  Church Webworks also offers Convention members full service, affordable websites that are easy to set up and maintain and have state of the art features and graphics.

The TOPIC Ministry (Turned On and Plugged In for Christ), continues to search for ways to better equip our convention and the churches of our convention with the very latest in applications for the world wide web and ministry.

For more information on how your church can benefit from these enhancements, please refer to our convention website at www.nationalbaptist.com.
