Independent Foreclosure Review Support

Brothers and Sisters:
The NAACP, national conventions and denominations and other partnership organizations are activating to assist homeowners whose primary residence was involved in a foreclosure process between January 1, 2009 and December 31, 2010 to apply for the free Independent Foreclosure Review. The Independent Foreclosure Review may provide financial compensation as well as other remedies for those who meet certain criteria.
TheIndependent Foreclosure Review will determine whether individual homeowners suffered financial injury and should receive compensation or other remedy because of errors or other problems during their home foreclosure process. All of your members who are interested or affected, should call the help line, immediately.
If you believe you or your members are eligible to participate in the program, you may complete and submit a Request for Review Form. It is important the form is completed to the best of your ability. All information you provide can be useful. Anyone believing they meet the criteria must have been a customer of one of the mortgage servicers listed below:

Please 1) post the flyer in a conspicuous place, 2) place the information on your church’s website, 3) read the announcement during next two worship services, and 4) include the insert in your printed bulletins.
All Requests for Review Forms
must be submitted online or postmarked no later than
December 31, 2012.
