A Giant Among Us Has Fallen!

The Reverend Charles T. Smith, Pastor Emeritus of the Shiloh Baptist Church of Baton Rouge departed this life on Tuesday, September 11, 2012.

B. Holmes, Vice-President of the Louisiana Missionary Baptist State  Convention, and President of the Fourth District Baptist Association.

Although we mourn the loss of our beloved brother in Christ, we are comforted by knowing that we can cast our cares on our Lord and He will sustain us (Psalms 55:22) during our time of sadness.  We ask that you faithfully remember Dr. Charles T. Smith’s family in prayer for our Lord’s comfort and strength and that you encourage them in word and deed as they face the challenges the coming days will bring...
