Faith and Communities in Action Resource Guide

U.S. Department of Justice’s Center for Faith-based and Neighborhood Partnerships is announcing its latest publication for community and faith leaders working to improve public safety in communities nationwide. The department’s publication is called Faith and Communities in Action: A Resource Guide for Increasing Partnership Opportunities to Prevent Crime and Violence.

The guide emphasizes the importance of building organizational capacity, developing solid partnerships and applying for and managing grants. . It also recognizes the incredible role of faith and community based groups and the projects and activities these organizations run each day that impact lives. The intent of the guide is to provide these important organizations with the tools necessary to sustain their initiatives long term.
