Dr. Michael O. Minor to participate in a "Let's Move" panel presentation on December 15

On December 15, 2011 at 4:00 pm EST, Dr. Michael O. Minor, Special Assistant to the Congress President for H.O.P.E., will present on a panel of experts sponsored by "Let's Move," an initiative of the First Lady, Michelle Obama. During this presentation, listeners will learn
how to help their organizations institute wellness leadership to encourage
healthy eating, physical activity, and increasing access to healthy,
affordable food for their communities. The presentation will be offered as a web conference and/or as an audio conference (telephone).

- Rev. Dr. Deb Patterson, Executive Director, Northwest Parish Nurse Ministries: On faith community nurses and health ministries
- Rev. Michael Minor, H.O.P.E. Health Initiative Director,
National Baptist Convention : On wellness ambassadors in National
Baptist Convention churches
- Mrs. Denise Hunter, First Lady, First African Methodist
Episcopal Church in Los Angeles: On serving as a wellness ambassador for
her congregation and community
Afterwards, w the call will be opened up for sharing of best practices from communities all over the country.
