Thousands of Blacks gathered this week in Orlando for Annual Session

Tropical storms brewing in the Gulf of Mexico and in the Atlantic Ocean didn’t stop thousands of members of the National Baptist Convention USA, Inc. from arriving in Orlando this week for the organization’s annual conference, called the Annual Session.

It was expected to conclude Saturday with a golf tournament featuring Robert Lee Elder, the first Black to play in the Masters Golf Tournament.
